The firm has once again been recognised in the prestigious Chambers UK Guide for 2023. We have retained top Band 1 rankings for a notable 5 practice areas, with 12 ranked departments and 31 ranked lawyers overall.
Agriculture & Rural Affairs, Clinical Negligence, Family/Matrimonial and Personal Injury all retained Band 1 rankings for Kent. Court of Protection has retained its UK-wide Band 1 ranking.
Our Dispute Resolution department has moved up a ranking to Band 2 for the South of England and our Transport & Logistics team has been recognised for the first time, with a UK-wide Band 4 ranking.
An additional four lawyers have been recognised, with Penelope Edgar, Head of Agriculture & Rural Affairs and Rosalind Hamlyn, Partner in the Court of Protection team ranked for the first time. Rico Dexiades in our Commercial Litigation department has been recognised as an ‘Associate to Watch’, and Katya Batchelor in our Banking & Finance team has been named a ‘Star Associate’.
In addition, Desmond O’Donnell from Family, Oliver Chapman from Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury and Douglas Skilton and James Cradick both from Dispute Resolution, have all moved up a ranking to Band 2. Faye Cook, Partner in the Corporate team has moved up to Band 3.
These rankings are in addition to the recent Chambers High Net Worth Guide. This saw the firm’s private client team ranked as Band 1 and the residential conveyancing team recognised once again UK wide for its real estate: high value residential work.
