Panattoni has been crowned the Developer of the Year at the Insider’s South East Property Awards 2022.
The success follows Panattoni’s investment across the South East in delivering high quality logistics and distribution companies, including at Aylesford in Kent, which has already attracted DHL, Fowler Welch and Evri.
The company has also recently brought forward proposals for delivering development in Wrotham in Kent, Burgess Hill in West Sussex, plus a 200,000 sq ft planning application for a new unit in Crawley, with a new three-unit net zero development in Basingstoke currently under construction.
Receiving the award, Alex Mitchell, Development Associate at Panattoni, said: “It’s great to have our work recognised. We are delighted to play our part in strengthening the South East economy and helping to attract high-quality global leaders in logistics and distribution.”
Reflecting the company’s confidence in Panattoni Park Aylesford and following strong demand from occupiers, the company recently announced plans to speculatively develop the remaining space on the 90-acre site.
The Insider’s South East Property Awards, announced at Crowne Plaza Felbridge, near Gatwick, were sponsored by Carpenter Box, Close Brothers Property Finance and Lewis Denley Solicitors.
