The Motorline Group has relocated its East Kent Audi centre, previously located on Ashford Road in Chartham, to an impressive brand-new, purpose-built Audi centre on Broad Oak Road, Canterbury.
The new location, which will be renamed as Canterbury Audi, officially opened on the 5th October 2020.
Thomas Obee, Chief Executive Officer at Motorline, commented, “We are thrilled to open the innovative Canterbury Audi centre in our family home city and close to where the Motorline Group originally began.
“Located in the heart of Canterbury’s motor district, the new building is one of the very first Audi Centres in the UK to incorporate the new Audi internal design and showroom finishes, which will further enhance the experience of customers visiting this outstanding facility.
“We want our customers to discover the wide breadth of Audi and Audi technology in superb surroundings, but most importantly, safely and comfortably. We look forward to welcoming customers to experience this stunning new building and are offering exclusive full-access tours to help showcase all areas of the facility and to meet our knowledgeable team, who have many years of experience working with the Audi product.
“To align the new location with our Audi centres in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, this move has seen a change in trading name from East Kent Audi to Canterbury Audi. This new name signifies the final step in our journey to deliver the ultimate Audi experience for our customers. The new building also demonstrates our significant confidence in investing in the Audi brand for the Kent market area.”
With technology playing a significant role in the design of the new building, Canterbury Audi is one of the first Audi centres to have a drive-through digital service reception in the UK.
In addition, the new centre will feature the latest automotive technology seen throughout the enhanced 12 car showroom, which features an Audi Performance Centre displaying the latest RS models. There are also over 75 approved used cars on display, further giving customers the opportunity to experience the full breadth of the Audi range. The new building has been designed to be easily accessible with large open areas including 30 customer parking spaces, six electric vehicle chargers and a 16-bay workshop.
Since Motorline’s acquisition of East Kent Audi in July 2018, the group has made significant changes to customer processes and experience, with positive feedback received as a result and the recent introduction of the new Canterbury Audi facilities enables Motorline to further enhance its reputation for delivering an outstanding customer service experience.
The unmissable new landmark home for Audi in Canterbury is centrally located on Broad Oak Road and is easily accessible via the A2 and A28.
