Dartford headquartered Europa Worldwide Group has been named in the 2020 Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 which recognises the fastest-growing companies in the UK.
Europa is this year ranked at 107, a leap from 153 last year and 218 in 2018. It follows a period of unprecedented growth.
This is the third consecutive year that the company has featured in Sunday Times PwC Top Track 250 league table which ranks Britain’s leading mid-market private companies with the biggest sales.
The organisers said “There’s no doubt that 2020 has posed unprecedented challenges. But time and again we’ve seen business leaders rising to that challenge, adapting their plans and taking the opportunity to innovate. This year, it’s more important than ever to recognise and congratulate the companies featured in the Top Track 250. They are the backbone of the UK economy and it’s our pleasure to work with them, at every stage of their journeys.”
Europa Worldwide Group has six divisions – Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, Europa Showfreight, Europa Warehouse, Europa Contact Centre and Continental Cargo Carriers.
The recent Top Track news follows a busy year for Europa which has seen the Group open a new, £60m, 715,000 sq ft state-of-the-art 3pl facility in Corby, doubling the logistics portfolio of its Warehouse division. Europa also announced an increase in turnover from £176million to £205million, showing another 16.5% growth with a record turnover
Most recently Europa launched an innovative new customs product in preparation for the end of the BREXIT transition period. Europa FLOW has been designed for both importers and exporters, to deliver a simple and effective customs process to minimise transit time delays. The first of its kind, Europa FLOW will combat any delays created by the need to contact importers prior to delivery, to agree terms, and collect VAT and duty prior to delivery
Andrew Baxter, Managing Director at Europa Worldwide Group said: “The Top Track listing is great recognition for us in turbulent times. We’ve had some major developments this year, and this is another triumph and I would like to thank every member of the team for their continued hard work in making Europa a success.”
