Nim’s Fruit Crisps was launched in November 2012. Nimisha used to run a coffee shop situated opposite a school which was frequented by the children and their parents.
Nimisha realised that children like crisps for the crunchiness as well as for the taste, so started looking at uniting the right flavours and textures in a healthy form. The result is a natural product which creates the perfect balance between sweetness and texture, and offers a choice of either one fruit or combination of two.
Manufacturing healthy snacks from a state-of-the-art British factory in the heart of Kent
The company started working out of London and had their products manufactured in Europe, but in 2015 they decided to bring manufacturing back to the UK.
Nim’s Fruit Crisps set up a production facility in Sittingbourne, Kent, and chose the area because of its access to Kent fruit farmers and the transport links to London and Europe. Nimisha uses local products as much as possible and values being able to visit Kent farms to look at produce to ensure it is as fresh as possible.
The company’s aim is to become the leading healthy snack manufacturer in the UK for both the domestic and export market
